1. Hookline is for adults only
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase a subscription or credits, upload media, create custom creators, or otherwise use Hookline.
Hookline is a general-audience professional creative service and is not designed, marketed, or intended for children or teenagers.
2. Minor likenesses and content
For brand and safety protection, users may not knowingly:
- Upload a creator reference image, video, voice, or other likeness material of a person under 18.
- Create a custom creator intended to depict a real or fictional minor.
- Use Hookline to create sexualized, exploitative, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise unsafe content involving a minor.
- Use an adult reference to intentionally make the person appear to be a minor for advertising, sexual, exploitative, or deceptive purposes.
A background appearance by a minor in lawful source material does not authorize use of that minor as a creator or promotional spokesperson. Users remain responsible for obtaining all required releases and permissions for any person appearing in content.
3. Age screening and verification
Hookline may ask you to confirm your age or use reasonable age-assurance measures when needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or account eligibility.
If we use a third-party age-assurance provider, information collected solely for age verification should be limited to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose and handled under applicable law and the provider's terms.
Misrepresenting your age is a violation of these policies and may result in account suspension or termination.
4. Reports from parents or guardians
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe a person under 18 has created a Hookline account or that Hookline is processing a minor's likeness without appropriate authorization, contact us promptly through the Contact page.
Please provide enough information for us to locate the relevant account or content, but do not send unnecessary sensitive documents in your first message. We may request additional information to verify authority or the report.
5. Enforcement
Hookline may restrict content, disable creator assets, suspend accounts, preserve relevant evidence, or report conduct to providers or authorities when reasonably necessary to address child safety, exploitation, illegal content, fraud, or imminent risk.
We may also block attempts to re-create removed minor-related content or bypass safety controls.
6. Privacy and children's information
Because Hookline is restricted to adults, we do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child in circumstances requiring deletion or other action, we will take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law.
